Australian Social Investment Trust (ASIT) is a benevolent, sector-neutral collaborator and facilitator. We work with value-matched organisations to co-create, enable and amplify social innovation, collective impact and social investment initiatives. Our collaborative programs and initiatives aim to create sustainable positive social impact for vulnerable communities.
ASIT works to break the cycle of disadvantage. Our work with partners and clients enables individuals, families and communities to fulfil their potential. Together, we focus on delivering long-term social and economic benefit to disadvantaged Australian communities.
"ASIT was created to harness the opportunity to work with like-minded individuals and organisations to genuinely collaborate to make lasting change on the many intractable and complex social and economic issues (or “wicked problems”) in our community." Founder/Executive Chair Natasha Scully.
At ASIT, we operate on the philosophy that what we achieve together is greater than what any individual, agency or organisation can achieve alone. Our work is with government, non-government, philanthropists, and big and small business with a genuine commitment to social change and economic return.
ASIT provides leading-edge services and expertise across three business streams to value-matched organisations. This includes government, non-government, philanthropists, and big and small business.
We bring together individuals and organisations to enable cross-sector collaboration and co-deliver positive social and economic outcomes. We facilitate the co-creation of solutions to complex social problems. We also work directly with individuals and organisations to amplify their positive impact.
We directly support value-matched organisations, initiatives and programs to establish and amplify their purpose, social impact and economic return. We deliver sustainable business solutions, providing clients with strategic business services, innovative governance models and management, measurement and evaluation, and sector-neutral facilitation and operations.
We partner with value-matched decision-makers, beneficiaries and influencers to co-deliver social innovation, investment initiatives and systems change. This includes working together towards developing Australia’s first Children’s Wealth Fund.
We facilitate long-term, cross-sector collaboration for place-based, whole-of-community collective impact initiatives. This includes Our Place, one of ASIT's major initiatives. The work of our collaborative initiatives is enabled by our sector-neutral Trust model and supported by neutral backbone governance, and pooled resourcing capabilities and investment.
